Hello everyone,
For too long it has been quiet around the EAA Urban Archaeology Community. At the same time, we are indeed preparing a session again at the upcoming conference in August.
We are organising a session entitled:
Urban and Underground Archaeology Exposed: 15 Years of Heritage Experience and Public Outreach [Urban Archaeology] (#406).
A second session that may be of interest to you is session #438: Timber buildings in Medieval and Post-Medieval Europe.
More information on both sessions can be found in the attachment to this message.
You can register for the sessions via the website Register EAA2023 (https://eaa.klinkhamergroup.com/eaa2023/).
Further information about the conference can be found at EAA2023 (www.e-a-a.org/EAA2023).
Belfast will also be the annual meeting of our community. It would be great if you could join us to take new steps into the future.
Best wishes and hope to see you in Belfast!

We are the EAA Community for Urban Archaeology. We exchange ideas, experiences, research, knowledge etc. all to improve archaeological research and heritage management in (highly dynamic) urban centres. We are part of the European Association of Archaeologists, but don’t represent the EAA as a whole.
