Save the date! Thursday 6 October 2022: 10th Day of Dutch Urban Archaeology

Together with the EAA Urban Archaeology Community and the Dutch Society for Medieval Archaeology, the Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE) organises on 6 October 2022 the 10th Day of Dutch Urban Archaeology.

It will be a hybrid event with international papers (in English) about Urban Archaeological topics. You will be taken to Wales, London, Sweden, Albania, Cambodja and also the Dutch towns Zutphen, ’s-Hertogenbosch, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Delft. [Read More…]

17 December 2020, 10.00-11.00 AM CET: The official launch of the book Managing Archaeology in Dynamic Urban Centres, edited by Paul Belford and Jeroen Bouwmeester.

The launch will be hosted by the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands, who provided funding for the publication. The chair of the meeting is Jos Bazelmans (Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands). [Read More…]
